At Kozy & Klean, we take care of your home and of your personal information. Here is, simply, what we collect, why, and what your rights are.
Who to contact
For any question, request or complaint about your information, write to our person in charge of the protection of personal information: kozyklean.info@gmail.com. The email opens already filled in.
What we collect
- Quote request: your contact details, the property address and your needs, to prepare your quote and contact you.
- Quick message: your name, a way to reach you and your message, to reply to you.
- Audience measurement, only if you accept: how the site is used (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling), to improve it. What you type in our forms is never captured.
We never sell your information and never use it for advertising.
Cookies
They are off by default. Audience measurement (Microsoft Clarity) turns on only if you click “Accept”. You can change your mind at any time.
Who we share it with
Only with the providers that run the site: hosting, email delivery, our mailbox and, if you accept, Microsoft for audience measurement. Some are located outside Québec, mainly in the United States. Before using a provider, we check that it adequately protects your information. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Request with no follow-up: deleted no later than 12 months after our last exchange.
- Client: during our relationship, then as long as the law requires.
- Audience measurement: 30 days for session replays, 9 months for statistics.
Security
Encrypted connection, access limited to our team and accounts protected by two-factor authentication. If a serious incident occurs, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned.
Your rights
You can view your information, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, get a copy or withdraw your consent. Write to us: we reply within 30 days, free of charge.
Our commitments
A designated person in charge, only the information we need, clear retention periods, an assessment before any new tool or transfer outside Québec, and a register of incidents. Our services are intended for adults. If this policy changes, the date above is updated and, if the change affects your consent, we ask for your choice again.
This policy complies with Québec's Law 25 and Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA). The French version prevails.

Providers
- Netlify, Inc. (United States): website hosting.
- EmailJS Pte. Ltd. (servers in the United States): sends your requests by email, without keeping their content.
- Google LLC: the Gmail inbox where we receive your requests; fonts (Google Fonts).
- jsDelivr: delivers the EmailJS technical library.
- Microsoft Corporation: Microsoft Clarity, only if you accept.
Audience measurement
Clarity records the pages viewed, visit length, scrolling, clicks and pointer movements, device and browser type, an approximate region (derived from the IP address) and the referring site. Forms and areas showing your contact details are masked.
Other
As with any website, your IP address is sent to our host and to the font and email-library providers, to run and secure the site. The city you type to check your area stays in your browser.
